Zaznajo lahko katere koli kovine in prevodne materiale velikosti jeklene kroglice 0.6mm. Separatorji kovine se namestijo neposredno pod ciklon. Ko je kovina zaznana, se pot pretoka materiala preusmeri, kontaminirani material se izloči, nato pa se tok vrne na običajno pot.
