Nomis d.o.o. donated visors to KBD and the Clinic for Children’s Diseases in Zagreb for the purpose of supporting and safe work of health workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this way, we decided to show our gratitude for the efforts of the medical and auxiliary staff, and to help them in their work by improving the working conditions.

There is no modern medicine without plastic:
The Covid-19 pandemic had an impact on the use of plastic as a material in modern medicine. Due to the highly contagious nature of the virus, plastic materials were crucial in creating a barrier between healthcare workers and patients, helping to reduce the spread of the virus.
Plastic as a material has various applications in the field of medicine, and in the case of Covid-19, we most often had the opportunity to see it in the form of visors, masks, protective gloves and other protective equipment, all the way to plastic equipment for testing and vaccination. Plastic materials are preferred in these types of applications due to their durability, flexibility and ability to be sterilized.
