The Tech Center at the headquarters of Nomis has been opened!

In the newly built facility of the Nomis company in Stupnik, at the beginning of September 2016, a new ‘Tech Center’- an educational and exhibition space was opened with an appropriate ceremony. Here Nomis partners can get to know the top machines and equipment from the polymer industry. The ceremony was attended by about 150 guests, associates, suppliers, clients from Germany, Italy, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, company employees, as well as a few Croatian scientists.

The opening of a new office space and technical center for Nomis has several meanings. The entire facility (offices, warehouse and technical center), which covers a thousand square meters, was built according to the highest standards of energy efficiency and working conditions in order to be able to provide customers with fast and high-quality service. Nomis points out that they are the only ones in the region who can provide customers with complete support in the efficient production of plastic, metal and ceramic items in one place. The technical center, the only one of its kind in Croatia and the region, offers customers a complete consulting service, presentation of the possibilities of Arburg machines and peripheral equipment that they offer and the possibility of technical training for operators and technologists. In addition to the aforementioned services, cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding is also planned in the form of support for students in the practical part of classes, as well as cooperation on various projects. The value of the investment in the entire facility is over HRK 7.5 million, and over HRK 1 million was invested in the technical center.

– The company Nomis grew in an effort to become a platform on which producers of top technology, raw materials and customers, clients from the Croatian and wider regional market will cooperate. Today, we are proud to provide clients with a comprehensive offer, from design, assembly, commissioning to maintenance and procurement of raw materials and spare parts – said at the ceremony the director of Nomis, mag.ing.mech. Berislav Pećanić.

Birgit Roscher, representative of the well-known German factory Arburg, a manufacturer of plastic injection molding machines, expressed her satisfaction with the long-term cooperation with the Croatian company, which has established itself as an important Arburg partner in this part of Europe.
